Winter Wedding Make-up Inspiration

Following on from our Winter hairstyles edit, we decided to elaborate a little on some beautiful Winter Wedding style make-up looks. With some especially pretty ideas we hope you'll like.

The best part about these strong looks is how you can really play around with the darker and deeper shades, such as burgundy and berry reds. With the majority of winter hairstyles being quite structured and held well in place, it is essential to pay particular attention to your make-up.

We see a lot of smokey eyes and darker eye shadows emerging in winter, coordinated with warmer shades on the lower lids such as gold and peach. Cheeks with a glow and a dash of colour giving a touch of warmth.

A general piece of advice would be to follow on and build up on a make-up style you already wear, this just helps you feel comfortable and not overwhelmed with a much more dramatic look than you are used to.

Maybe try a few shades darker than usual, or slightly new colours you may not have considered before, this just gives you a better idea of what to ask for if you decide to go to a professional MUA.
